The Work Week as Seen at the Oscars

Work is hard, but necessary. And, don’t get me wrong, I love my job — but every week, I go through the same series of emotions. It’s just the way it is.

Mondays are arduous, Wednesdays keep us optimistic, and Fridays set us free.

For actors and actresses, the Oscars is a chance to show off the work they’ve done throughout the year and earn awards (and rewards…have you seen what’s in those gift bags?!). For me, it provided a mountain of golden GIFs that represent my work week rollercoaster.

MONDAY

Walking in confident but by the end of the day…

TUESDAY

Grin and bear it. Just three more days…72 hours…4,320 minutes…259,200 seconds…But who’s counting, right?

WEDNESDAY

It could be Thursday, you’re praying it’s Friday. Crap. What does that say? It’s only Wednesday?

THURSDAY

When you’re so close to the weekend you can barely contain yourself.

FRIDAY

You made it, you pulled through, you rocked that work week, and now it’s time to celebrate!

How do you get through the work week?
